Christmas isn’t Christmas till it happens in your heart
Somewhere, deep inside you, is where Christmas really starts
So, give your heart to Jesus, you’ll discover when you do

Jesus brings warmth like a winter fire, a light like a candles glow
He’s waiting now to come inside, like He did so long ago
Jesus brings gifts of truth and life and makes them bloom and grow

Through the Window

Looking through the Window at the Person on the Other Side.

A smile is shared, but is hard to see because of glare on the Glass.

Mouths form words, but they can not be heard,

A Pane of Glass separates.

Something so small separates something that could be huge.

A hand touches the Glass, but cannot feel the One on the Other Side,

Something so thin keeps them apart.

Can you break the Glass?

Can you see? hear? feel?

Experience the sensation of Sense?

Or is the thought of shattered Glass too frightening?

Is seeing worth the risk of Him looking Inside?

Is hearing worth the powerful noise of the World?

Is feeling worth the pain of breaking the Glass?

The Sun outside appears warm and welcoming,

But how can you be sure that once the Glass is gone,

Cold won't enter the house?

Yet, what if the Sun is truthful?

What if, when you break the Glass, warm, fresh air fills your lungs?

Looking through the Window at the Person on the Other Side.

A decision must be made.

The Person on the Other Side seems to be saying something,

His lips shape a word, "Come."

"Come to me."

His eyes are full of love.

"Come."

Once again, your hands meet, kept separate by the Glass,

And in that moment,

You know.

And then, with one final breath,

One dying breath.

You break the Glass.

And breathe in new Air of Life.
